Fresh set every three weeks. Presentation is never an afterthought — not on a client's brand, not on my own hands.
Creative director #1. Sits on whatever I'm working on, exactly when I need it. Has never approved a first draft.
Creative director #2. Reviews packaging by knocking it off the desk. If it survives the fall, it ships.
Maple Idle before bed, TFT when I want a real fight. Games are the one grid I don't get to design.
Twelve steps deep. If a beauty brand can't earn a spot here, it isn't earning a spot in my portfolio either.
Figurines and plushies from the games and characters I love. They arrived as treats and stayed as colleagues.
A running note of every menu I've memorised. Half my F&B instincts come from sitting in these places too long.
Two thousand photos of other people's packaging. It's research, technically.
On my desk today
Fresh chrome nails, a shelf of serums I've actually finished, and a coffee that went cold two hours ago.
The lists
Updated when I remember
Receipts for the taste.
Anyone can say they understand a category. This is the receipts version — what's actually on my shelf, the places I keep going back to, and what I do once the laptop shuts.
On the shelf
- Topix Green Tea MistMy go-to mist. I’m on my fifth bottle and I have three more stashed — I panic-bought during the sale.
- Elizavecca CER-100Holy grail. This is the entire reason my hair is silky all the time.
- Marinavi TrueMild SunscreenThe formula is unreal. Most sunscreens leave a sticky film; this one just feels smooth. Best thing out there for oily-skin girlies like me.
- L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand CreamExpensive, worth it, will buy again. I’ve never found a hand cream that beats it.
- Biodance Collagen MaskBest sleeping mask ever. You wake up glowing every single time.
Tables I’d fight for
- Cafe SeeSawBest latte I’ve had. The portion is small for me but it’s so worth it.
- BBQ ChickenBest Korean fried chicken. You genuinely cannot order wrong here.
- Poetree CafeKorean-style tonkatsu and pasta done properly. My order is the seafood alfredo + tonkatsu combo.
- Ton Ton Ramen & YakitoriBest ramen I’ve ever had. Worth the drive for the ramen alone.
- Commune CoffeeJust opened five minutes from my house, so obviously I ran. The latte is excellent and it’s already my default.
After midnight
- PC gamesMost of my free time. League, Valorant, GTA V — competitive one night, completely casual the next, depending on the mood. If something new drops, the squad and I are on it.
- NailsI like pretty things, and that includes my hands. I do my own and I’m always testing new designs and techniques.
- ToysFigurines and plushies from the games and characters I love. The shelf keeps growing and I stopped pretending it was temporary a while ago — a lot of my sense of what makes an object worth keeping came from collecting them.
- AnimeGrew up on it and never stopped. All-time favourite is Demon Slayer.
- Sleep & restSometimes I do absolutely nothing on purpose. Best possible recovery for your eyes, your body, your brain — everything.
Why any of
this matters.
Most studios will tell you they researched your customer. I'd rather show you that I am her — the one who reads the ingredient list, screenshots the packaging before opening it, and decides how she feels about your landing page in about three seconds.
That's not a personality section tacked onto a portfolio. It's the actual reason the work lands. You can brief someone on a demographic; you can't brief them into caring what the box feels like in your hand.
